We got to Tampa around 11 am. We got the boat on the dolly ready to go and went to get some lunch. The practice races started at 2. The weather was pleasant with scattered clouds and shifty winds. I was second in the first race but the first lady did not finish. I asked her why and she said it was bad luck. I was third from the last the second race. Maybe she was right. Charlie and I had a relaxing evening at a friend’s house in St.-Pete. We are off to the races this morning. Skies are clear, wind said to be light. We’ll see how it goes.–Annie Lancaster
